The Andean Loom
High in the Peruvian Andes, weaving remains both an art form and a living tradition. Working on traditional looms, women artisans transform alpaca and wool into textiles that reflect generations of skill, symbolism, and cultural heritage.
Collected Abroad is developing this collection in partnership with weaving communities near Cusco, Peru. Planned offerings include handwoven pillow covers, table runners, throws, and other heirloom-quality textiles created in limited quantities.
Every textile begins by hand. Colors are inspired by the surrounding mountains, valleys, and villages, while traditional weaving techniques preserve patterns passed from one generation to the next.
As new pieces arrive, this collection will feature artisan-made textiles selected for their craftsmanship, authenticity, and enduring beauty.
