Gilded Weave Pendant

Handcrafted by the artist, Ivan Midzic, each piece reflects a practice spanning jewelry and fine art.

Layers of hand-cut brushed aluminum are meticulously woven over a warm brass foundation, creating a sculptural composition that balances geometric precision with the spontaneity of handcraft. The contrasting metals catch the light differently from every angle, revealing subtle depth and movement unique to the piece.

The pendant is suspended from a handcrafted brushed aluminum circular collar measuring approximately 5⅞ inches (15 cm) in diameter, finished with a simple artisan hook clasp that complements the clean architectural design.

Raw metals are used in their natural state, with the marks of making intentionally preserved. A light protective coating is applied; subtle tonal shifts may occur depending on skin chemistry and environment.

Variations in form and finish are inherent—and part of what makes each piece unique.
