Copper Solstice Pendant

Handcrafted by the artist, Ivan Midzic, each piece reflects a practice spanning jewelry and fine art.

Concentric spirals of brushed aluminum and warm copper are gathered within an intricate hand-formed nest of flowing metal, creating a composition that feels both architectural and organic. The layered construction draws the eye inward while the intertwined aluminum and copper strands add depth, movement, and sculptural dimension from every angle.

The pendant is suspended from a handcrafted brushed aluminum circular collar measuring approximately 5⅞ inches (15 cm) in diameter, finished with a simple artisan hook clasp that complements the clean architectural design.

Raw metals are used in their natural state, with the marks of making intentionally preserved. A light protective coating is applied; subtle tonal shifts may occur depending on skin chemistry and environment.

Variations in form and finish are inherent—and part of what makes each piece unique.
