Copper Current Pendant
Description
Handcrafted by the artist, Ivan Midzic, each piece reflects a practice spanning jewelry and fine art.
Sweeping strands of oxidized aluminum flow across a warm brushed copper form, creating the impression of wind, water, or living branches moving through an architectural frame. The composition balances fluid organic movement with precise geometric structure, allowing light to travel through the open design while emphasizing the contrast between the rich copper and darkened aluminum.
The pendant is suspended from a handcrafted brushed aluminum circular collar measuring approximately 5⅞ inches (15 cm) in diameter, finished with a simple artisan hook clasp that complements the clean architectural design.
Raw metals are used in their natural state, with the marks of making intentionally preserved. A light protective coating is applied; subtle tonal shifts may occur depending on skin chemistry and environment.
Variations in form and finish are inherent—and part of what makes each piece unique.
Each piece is handcrafted in limited quantities exclusively for Collected Abroad. If a piece sells through, your order reserves the next artisan release and ships in approximately 1–2 weeks.
