Copper Current Cuff
Description
The Copper Current Cuff is an exuberant study in movement, rhythm, and contrast. Broad bands of cool silver-toned aluminum form the sculptural foundation, while slender strands of luminous copper sweep across the surface in an intricate, almost woven composition.
The copper appears to travel around the cuff—crossing, gathering and separating as it moves—creating shifting lines of light against the brushed silver beneath. From every angle, the piece reveals something different: flashes of warm copper, glimpses of cool metal and the unmistakable evidence of the artist’s hand.
Bold in scale yet remarkably fluid, Copper Current feels less like conventional jewelry than a small piece of abstract sculpture made to be worn.
Handcrafted by artist Ivan Midzic, each piece reflects a practice spanning jewelry, sculpture and fine art.
Raw metals are used in their natural state, with the marks of making intentionally preserved.
A light protective coating is applied; subtle tonal shifts may occur depending on skin chemistry and environment.
Variations in form and finish are inherent—and part of what makes each piece unique.
Each piece is handcrafted in limited quantities exclusively for Collected Abroad. If a piece sells through, your order reserves the next artisan release and ships in approximately 1–2 weeks.
Small batch production. Final sale due to limited, curated inventory.
